Everybody loves a good decor dupe right??!!?? Well here’s a money-saving dupe that’s so quick and easy anybody can do it!
When I saw this gorgeous Wood Bead Garland from Pottery Barn I was completely in LOVE with everything about them accept the price! $99 + shipping is just not in my decor budget for wood garland so I started researching and found a few things that helped me create the same look for a fraction of the cost.
I found these large 1.5” wood beads on Amazon. This pack of 50 was plenty enough to make my garland with a few extra beads for another project...more about that to come!
I used this jute twine I always have on hand for packaging our orders to string the beads together. The holes in the beads are significantly larger than the twine so I added some smaller beads I had from another project to finish off the ends and tied a knot in the twine. That’s it! Easy enough right?!?
So even if you have to buy all of the supplies, you can easily make multiple wood garlands for less than half the price of the Pottery Barn Set!! I wanted to make a natural wood color for this set but these would also look great painted or even stained. I also love to use wood bead garland on my mantel so I think that’s my next project! Stay tuned!!
This would also be a great rainy day project with the kiddos! If you attempt this project I’d love to see pics of your creation!! You can tag me in your photos or stories on Instagram @returninggrace and use the hashtag #returninggracedesigns to be featured on our social media tab on our website!
